Doris Elaine Gresham, 82 of Normal, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2017 at 11:35am at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.

Doris’s visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 4-7pm at Beck Memorial Home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.

Doris was born on September 18, 1934 at Heyworth, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar L. and Beulah (Page) Cotton. She married James Gresham on October 11, 1954 at Bloomington, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband James of Normal, their children: Dallas (Gwen) Gresham of Greenview, Illinois and Dale (Ann) Gresham of Normal. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law: Denise Gresham of South Pekin, Illinois, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, two sisters: Marilyn Prather of Hoffman Estates, IL and Janet Cole of Normal and one brother: Kenny (Diane) Cotton of Bloomington.

She was preceded by her parents, three sons: Randy, Danny and David Gresham, one brother and one grandson.

Doris was a graduate of Bloomington High School Class of 1952. She worked and retired from GE in 1990 and was a member of the Machinist Lodge Local 1000 Bloomington.

Doris liked to play Dominos and card games, she enjoyed doing crafts and loved watching Wheel of Fortune.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all her family.
